I have had dime and penny for about 3 weeks, and i think it is a great trick, but if i use it for more than 10 minutes at a time, the penny shim gets very black. Is there anyway to restore the color?
thanks

It says in the directions of either Scotch and Soda or Dime and Penny that if you make a Vinegar and Salt of something solution it should clean that pretty well. I'm not sure what the exact solution though.

I looked it up in the Scotch and Soda book. It says: "Your copper coin will naturally tarnish. To polish your coin use Distilled Vinegar and Salt in a solution. Dip them in and remove quickly. Then rinse thoroughly in plain water."

My penny seems to tarnish mush easier than the copper coin in Dime and Penny, they should really have included this in the instructions for Dime and Penny.
