I first saw Doug Henning when I was real young. His closeup and levitations got me hooked...to bad he died at an early age.

The first time I really started liking magic was when I saw one of David Copperfield's specials on TV when I was a little kid.

I'd also say David Copperfield (I'm seeing him this Saturday in Baltimore, MD!), Bill Malone is probably my favorite of all time, and I also like Lennart Green. Oh yeah, Penn and Teller but their live shows do get a little raunchy! I remember being at one show and couples just started walking out.

My uncle gave me the inspiration to want to learn magic. When I was about 6-8 years old he made a coin disappear from his hand and made it reappear from behind my ear. Later I learned that he accomplished this amazing feat via the "french Drop". I've had an interest in magic ever since. That was more than 50 years ago.

When I was young, I was given a beginner's magic kit that had a few trick in it. All I remember about it was a Ball and Vase Trick and a really cool Magic Wand trick (I still use this trick, but I make the wand myself). I've always had an interest, but never have I actually set out to learn until recently. Now after discovering Penguin Magic, My assistant (read: daughter) and I are working on a 30-45 minute routine for some nursing homes in town.

I've always liked seeing magicians on TV, but I really got into magic when I saw Michael Ammar on the Worlds Greatest Magic. He did his Cups and Balls, and I was amazed. I practiced that trick and watched that video clip every day for a month until I could do the routine.

i have always had a passion for magic. It started when I saw some of the worlds greatest magic television shows. I got a kit and was preforming small tricks for my family. That Eventually became a disinterest to me and about 3 years later I saw the Jawdroppers tapes by Larry Anderson on tv. I wanted them badly and I got them. They lasted me for a month or two then my magic interest lie dorment for another year and a half. Until i saw David Blaine's street magic special. Ever since then I am a magic fanatic.

Originally i thought magic was cool because i saw a local magician but what really sparked my intrest was a few months ago i caught the david blaine street magic speacial so i searced the internet that day i just thought it was so cool he could get such a reaction from people and immediatly i knew i wanted to do the same thing, affect peoples lives like that with something that i can do just make someones smile and remember it for a long time.

Worlds greatest magic. When you do a trick and people just stare at you, it just has a feeling nothign else can give. Its really amazing...

When I first saw David Blaine is when I really decided that I wanted to do magic, that was 5 months ago. Now I make about two hundred-four hundred a week doing magic & I love it!

wiliby11: Where do you work? Resturants or parties? I'm thinking about starting to work at a resturaunt. I think it would be great.

When I was in the first grade, a magician performed at my elementary school. After that, my parents saw how interested I was in magic, so they tried to buy me a magic set on Christmas. I come from a poor family, so I had to make tricks up on my own. Now, I can afford these tricks that I've never seen before because I have the money. Don't get me wrong, or anything, I still think that the magic that you do with ordinary things is alot more impressive than a gimmick. (sometimes)
