Sometimes the "effective lines" sound dumb out of context, but when you're in in front of an audience of any size, they work:

While getting into an effect and/or just about to make "it" happen, said in a strong, DJ type voice: "at no time will my hands leave the ends of my arms".

When asked the inevitable, "how did you do that?", say with no ego in your voice, only as a "fun" response, "very well thank you".

When asked to repeat the never-repeat-in-front-of-the-same-audience effects, respond with a matter-of-fact voice; "the magic only works once." (frustrates the edited out of some people)
