How can i open a combination lock without using expensive devices?

That is so awesome ...... I was going to learn to pick locks and ordered a 30$ lock picking set with like 15 pieces and used it twice and had the house locks down to a T ........once, I actually left my keys in the shed and locked it w/ the pad lock and i went and got my kit and had it open in like 3 minutes........
