It's impossible to narrow down what a "best" trick is. What one person thinks is great, another person may dislike.

What do mean by "best price"? Are you looking for the lowest price?....or something in a specific price range?

Here are a few "good" tricks at a "low" price....

Color Monte
Nickles to Dimes
Dime and Penny
Crazy Cube
Tel-A-Vision
Hypnotic Choice

In all my years of magic, without a doubt, the best bang for the buck in magic is ................................. the little Adams "Magic Coin Box". I have done this trick for over 10 years and people don't ask about the $400 dagger head chest or the other big illusions. They want to know how that signed coin appeared in the little bag inside the nest of boxes. It continues to amaze.

Cost: Usually less than $4

:D

My fav. trick at the lowest cost is the original hotrod but like Frijid said some tricks you like and others dispise them.

Buy a thumbtip better yet get like 10 at a time so if you loose one you don't have to wrry about it.

Color Monte just 3$ and you look like a card shark (skill trick takes some practice) and a Tumb Tip so you can do the vanishing handkerchief. BUt it's evident that a simple deck of cards and Royal Road to Card Magic will give you a lot of moves and tricks.

I agree with Pahtcub. I have made a reputation in my area with TT tricks. Also check out the vanishing glass and liquid trick.
