You are taking items out of a persons pockets without them knowing. The secret lies a lot in misdirection, entertaining the person, and directing their attention away from what you're doing. It takes a ton of practice, and I'd recommend doing some research and getting a few books and/or videos on the subject

Ok here is how you do it, Knock them out then reach into there pocket and take the valuable things i.e. keys, money, credit cards, ect.

disclaimer- dont hit people and take there money unless you want to die, that is for entertainment pourpouses only.

it's done pretty much just like it's been said in this thread. you may have to invest in a DVD to get some of the little techniques, and you'll need someone to practice on. i never really got too much into pickpocketing because it's too risky. you need to be really close, have misdirection, and typically have to be touching the person. i went to a james coates seminar and have his video. i guess his stuff is as good as anyone elses, so i'd consider getting something like that if you're interested.

also consider doing putpocketing (putting cards, coins, etc. in people's pockets and during a trick the item 'ends up' in their pocket).
