Hey Everyone- First of all Thanks for looking at my post. Im 14 years old and have been interested in magic for 3 years and have wanted to do a show for a while but never wanted to do it alone so i finally searched and i have someone that wants to do it, but thats beside the point. Im investing lots of $$ on this site and othes to get magic for a childrens show (Ya know, 5/6/7 year old kids). But I dont want cheap crap that isnt even good. I want to their birthday parties.Your all expierenced so I wanted to know what kinds of tricks kids like. Examples would be appreciated. Even if their not on this site. Thanks so much-Josh

I've gotten great results at my church with 5-8 year old kids using The Raven and The Three in One Quarter. They now ask me to do "the coin trick" and "the biting quarter trick" every week now. I would also recomend Twisted Sisters, for a little bit older kids (8-9 yrs, they just have to be able to know the four suits and remember their choice). Hope that helps.

The raven is a great trick to perform for little kids. You should see their faces when the nickel turns into a penny, mini nickel or a dime with just a wave of your hand.and nothing in your hand afterwards! <br> I hope that helps!

Joker Tube and Strat-O-sphere are both the same effect, and I highly recomend getting one of them. Joker Tube is availible from this site.

For the age group that you speak of, magic coloring book is great with dissapearing crayons. But older kids will work out how magic coloring book is done.

Dice Box is also a great effect that kids love.

I would also recomend you getting hippety hop rabbits and peanut butter and jelly illusion.

If you've got the space, the time and indeed you want one, buy a rabbit, and rabbit mirror box. Kids will remember you for a long long time if you do this, and adults will too.

Remember in a kids show, the thing that really matters is you entertain your audience.
