I put together my first routine. It is a family show, anyone 5 and up. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

I get introduced

I do my welcoming, a little warm up with the audience, then I say lets have some fun and produce confettie from the air!

Magic coloring book (I goof up and make the black and white pictures dissapear, then with their help we get the pictures colored).

I test how calm my nerves are and balance a playing card on my hand. Then to top it off, I produce a hanky from the card.

I bring up a volunteer and make the hanky vanish in his hand and reappear in my hand.

Magic billliard ball (produce balls from the air. Then vanish them one by one. With a supprise ending).

Then they get to play a trick on me. We play magician dunk tank. After that I put on my hat and water spills all over me.

Then I do my closing and turn tissue into candy. The candy is for everyone.

It's nice to finally hear of someone putting a routine together FIRST then going for a show, GOOD JOB!
There are two areas of concern.
1# If you are at someone's house for a birthday party or whatever, I don't think throwing confettie all over would be a welcoming sight to the parents.
They will probably have enough mess to clean up after the kids.
2# When you put on your hat and water spills out, is the water also going to hit the floor, Carpet or furniture?
Those are good ideas for an outside show or on stage, but in someone's house I'd rethink that.
Everything else looks real good though, good job.
When you are doing your warm up gig, REALLY make it fun, that will start everything out on the right foot.
