While Penn and Teller are great, when it comes to magic comedians (or comedic magicians), I love the Amazing Jonathan.

He does focus more on comedy than magic, though. I think he's hysterical, and I love the way he makes an audience member assistant look like an [edited]! A lot of pure magicians probably hate him though, as part of his comedic act he exposes several tricks.

i've had a similar experience when i was joking around in the bathroom. i waved my hands over this lightbulb and it turned off. when i did it again, it turned on. i repeatedly did this until i figured out that it was motion activated

Did you have a window open?

if you did then that might be why, when you have a window opened and you open the door and push it just a little bit there is less wind drag (less force pushing on the window) causing the door to open/close with little force pusing it.

My absolute favorite magician is Franz Harary. He is the guy that made a Space Shuttle disappear and made the Taj Mahal invisible. He is not well known because he tours the world almost constantly. Check out his videos.

http://www.harary.com
Then click on watch the video.

They are amazing.

I think if you are going to have Jay Sankey you can't really go without mentioning his good friend Richard Sanders, both are as good as each other in my opinion

ok, this has nothng to do with street magic, the poll has nothing to do with your story, and you put like every magician twice on your poll.

I would have to say ''Harry Houdini'' If it was not for him I don't think we would be where we are today.

He wouldn't be my favorite performer if thats what you want to know. But he was the creator of modern magic so I go with him 8)
