Derren Brown the Gathering is on tonight on Channle 4 10.00 - 11.10. Here's what the T.V Guide says:
Quote:
The master of misdirection presents his unique brand of magic and suggestion in front of an invited audience of magic experts, phchologists, physics and celebrity fans who are divided as to his credibility. As he works with randomly selected members of the audience, Derren's mind games are sure to entertain and confound, but will they enable him to win over the cynics who brand him a fraud?

There's also this comment by Alison Graham in the Guide:
Quote:
I need little convincing that Derren Brown is not of this world, but there seem to be those among you who think he's just a showman. Tonight, to scoff in the face of cynicism, Derren performs a live show in front of an invited audience. Using randomly selected volunteers, Brown aims to convince sneerers that there's more to him than meets the eye. Spooky, but fun.

It's repeated next saturday on E4 at around 11 I think (you'll have to check) and then an hour later on E4+1.

It was very good. A few things I remember from Derrens stage show last year. But very good.

That was brilliant. He seemed a lot more enthusiastic than last time.

Agreed, the only thing different from his 2004 stage show was the taxi thingy.

I spotted the messages, the first one said forget, but it was impossible to see the second one becuase of camera angles etc, but I did spot the second flash.

Yep. I did. The crazyest thing was that I actually forgot most of the show. Thank God I recorded it otherwise that would have been a real swizz - seeeing a great show then forgetting it!

I didn't forget it, but then after I saw the first one I guessed something like that might be up, and made an effort to remember it:

country/shapes prediction
choose an envelope
blindfolded number drawing
drawing on an easel
tells them about forgetting
finished the choose an envelope thing
memorized A-Z
Finale– I'll never forget that!

Ok, I bet I missed something, and I'm sure that isn't the right order, but hey!

I love the thing where he snaps his fingers and they drop off, then says he isn't hypnotising them, just...
