who was oz pearlman before penguin magic?

had anyone honestly heard of him?

i think penguin has helped his career...with 3 dvds sold and links to his site....

truethfully...he's not the best magician in the world but he's not the worst..next time i'm in NYC i'm gonna look up one of his shows..

so whata say did you know oz before penguin magic?

Possibly, I think Oz and Noblezada were not very popular before Penguin :wink:

i think oz is more known than jay, but yeah i agree he was a nobody to everyone except people that saw his shows before

I don't think that is so. I meen Jay not as famous as OZ? Jay has been doing Stand up for I don't know how long and found more ideas in magic and well I think more poeple know of Jay. I went to a lecture of his (Funny Guy , really nice) and I asked if anyone knew of OZ Pearlman and the only reason they any knew of him (Few did) was because they disliked penguin a bit and knew of his name associated with penguin.

Agreed. Jay was on an episode of Comedy At Club 54, a popular stand up comedy show back in the 90s.

Jay was a good stand up, then turned magician. I don't believe he would still be famous today if it wasn't for Penguin, however Pengiun certainly didn't give him his first shot.

I think Jay Sankey was probally the only Penguin Magician that was famous before Penguin.

Jay Sankey is the more famous and talented one.

And that's because he ISN'T a 'Penguin Magician'. Incase you guys havent realized, Penguin isn't the only shop out there. Jay has A LOT of good stuff that he put out before he ever came to Penguin.

And what about Morgan Strebler? What about Gregory Wilson? What about Scott Cram....Ok, never mind
