today i receieved my buttercoin in the mail, i usually dont do coin magic ,but the demo for this impressed me so i got it. this coin replaces the flipper coin, the bite-out, and the rub away. what you get is the coin and a 60 minute dvd, that teaches six great tricks..3-fly, signed coin through table , and four others ( check out the demo) the dvd is high quality and the teahcing on it is done very well, the coin is machined about as perfect as it can get, if you have any of the above mentioned coins you know what iam talking about. it does make the 3-fly alot easier for me anyways, and the bite out more convincing. as for as the quality of the coin and the dvd goes i have to give it a 10/10. the easiness of preforming i would give a 8/10 though the dvd is easy to understand, like every other effect it takes some practice. the price is about 27.00 dollars for both the coin and dvd which i feel is pretty reasonable, if you like coin magic i would reccomend this because you coin preform many diffrent effects with one coin, i would also recomend it to the person who doesn't use coins much because i feel it makes a good addition to any magians arsenal, especailly if you like to preform the bite-out routine, the coin through table, ( even a glass table) is awesome and this coin makes it easy to preform..check out the demo

Thanks Natedogg, people have been asking about this. Sounds sweet. I'll see how much milage I get out of the flipper coin I ordered last week.

Thanks for the review. I was wondering about this one.

The thing I don't understand is why everyone seems to give something a lower rating because you have to practice to get something down??? If every other trick takes practice...that's a good thing, unless the effects aren't good (which by the sound of this review, they sound like good ones).

I guess I'll never understand that.

I was just wondering exactly how similar this is to the 3 in 1 coin, because it looks basically like the same thing... If I already have that, do you think it is worth it to get the butter coin? Also, if you have the 3 in 1, how do you think the quality compares (I was a little disappointed in the 3 in 1)?

Thanks :)

I was also very dissappointed in the 3 in 1 coin so maybe this one may be better.

well i do not have the three in one so i cant say anything about it, but as i said i think the quality of the buttercoin is great, the diffrence is on the buttercoin is that there is only one "cut", but i think the buttercoin is worth it and i would say maybe even more diverse than the three in one, maybe a 5-in-one.

yeah the 3 in one uses only one cut, so I was just wondering if I would be paying for the same thing...

Yea, the other coin(s) involved in the trick are normal quarters that you supply.
