I know a lot of people like Jay Sankey and make posts about his DVDs and how funny he is.

I personally can't stand to watch him. I think he is annoying and not funny at all. I literally can't watch him perform or teach. His style, voices, and sense of humor is grating to me. Is there anyone else who feels like this?

I agree. Occasionally he might have a funny joke or two, but in general, he annoys me greatly.

I don't think his voices are funny, nor his 'style'. I enjoy watching him perform, but when he teaches, his stupid antics just get in the way.

I don't HATE him though.

There are very few ways to make a magic video. Some are very bad, Ammar's Icebreakers video has put me to sleep on a few occasions, due to the infomercial-like atmosphere.. Other's are much better, such as the Flicking Fingers video, which is almost Asher-esque in the movie style of the video. Then you have the straight teaching videos. Jay's videos include his humor and voices to keep people interested. They make the majority of the people watching want to know what's coming next. I love his videos, but I'm watching them for the magic, not to reach enlightenment through his humor.

True. God, I hate his little voices... it's not funny, it's more... like... just little voices a 7 year old would make, and to me, they're not funny at all.

He has some material, but the way he teaches it, to me, just plain sucks.

He's an entertainer and like a lot of entertainers his humor will appeal to some but not to others.

I myself don't believe he's the funniest guy in the world but he is pretty amusing.

In, Front Row Sankey, when he was teaching Litmus Test I think, he was talking in this really annoying voice, and it drove me crazy.

I don't hate him either. I didn't mean for it to sound like that. I just don't like his performing style at all.

What caused you to change your mind about Sankey then pangea?

Yes i do man, i can't stand him etheir, im not saying is magic is bad, but his presntation and so called comdey is anyoing.

I only laughed at one part in Front Row Sankey and that is when he was doing magic for this one couple and on the backround you hear a group of people laughing and Jay is like, ''They are just getting a joke a told earlier". I thought that was funny, but the rest was either not funny, or I didnt get the joke.
