There is a magic auction in Manchester.
Manchester Circle of Magicians Jumbo Auction on Tuesday 25th October will be truly mammoth in size. With more than 16 lots, some containing 150 items it is going to be a long but interesting night! To cope with the vast amount of props and books on offer the Auction will be starting at 6.30pm. Professional used magic dealers Derek Lever and Mike Shepherd are the knowledgeable Auctioneers and it all happens at Salford Masonic Hall, Hemsley House, 41 The Crescent, Salford, Manchester (Map), which also has a private bar and car park. Doors open at 5.30pm and viewing commences at 6pm. The door charge for non-members is £3.00. Further details from Derek Lever, 32 Pilling Lane, Preesall, Poulton-Le-Fylde, Lancashire FY6 OEU. Phone/Fax 01253 810113, email deriko@webaplomb.com. 15.10.05 I'm going, although it is a long drive from Doncaster I have heard it is very good and usually carries on to 4.00am

I'll be there too. I'm a member of the club.

Jackginger, the email address for Derek Lever is also the one you will need if you want to become a member. Its an excellent club, I reccomend you join. We had Simon Lovell lecturing this month, but I missed it... :(
Derek Levers a really great guy, you should get in touch with him.

Might see some of you there, its gonna be great.

For some reason I though Bolton was south, not a clue why.
i love manchester, Urbis museum is pretty cool, but full of dirty moshers!

Few cool kids around.
But don't know of any magic clubs, maybe yellow pages, or google?
Or start your own.

I was sitting near the back in the middle, I bought that demon series silk vanisher for £16, I also got them two giant coins on fishing line for £1.
My friend got loads of stuff, booklets, Videos and a few tricks. We went with John Turner who bought the folding Table, the one that you can produce from a newspaper, he also bought a load more stuff. Where abouts were you?

I was near the front. I got there really early so I could get a good spot. I got Henry Evans 10 exact cuts, a perplexing pen (love it) and some other bits of junk which I wont use but I'll get some enjoyment messing around with. It was quite a good night. I left at about 11 though cos Most of the good stuff had gone. There were some good DVDs going towards the end. I should've got Osterlind Mind Mysteries, he's a genius.

I wish I'd got those Antique Cup's and Ball's, I stayed till the end, They finished at 12:40am which was alot eariler than I expected, They were meant to be out by 12:00am though. I got home for about 2:00am.
P.S. were you in a green T-shirt.
