Well there is Mark Cannon and his wife.

"Mr. Escape"

There are alot of Escape Artist out there.

But because we have all pretty much been living and performing in the shadow of Houdini, it is only fair to say Houdini.

He set the bar that we aspire to.

Also Dooley's presentation is a little monotonous. (sp?)

Are you joking me? Most lay people have never even heard of dooley, but when you say "magician" a lay person will think "houdini." I think that says it all.

Also seeing as how Dooley's entire act is based AROUND Houdini, it's more than fair to say Houdini owns Dooley.

umm yeah omg...i luv houdini he is the best escapeologist because he died doing one!!

Houdini didn't die in one of his tricks he died because he said he can take a punch to the stomach and a guy nailed him in the stomach before houdini could get ready.

You are correct sir!!

Houdini died from a ruptured appendix. He got this from a boxer who socked him in the stomach before Houdini could prepare himself.

Houdini is the most well known person in the industry bar none... Even if he sucked.. (which he didn't) he would still be considered the best!


If I was going going to open a emergency lock smith company (open cars, make keys etc...)

What would you name your company that you think would help your business more?

Houdini Locksmith

Or

Dooley Locksmith
