Hi guys,

Just lately I've been learning some of his work which I love, can someone tell if he's alive or dead or any info they might have on him.

Thanks!

I'd suggest using Google. I was actually under the impression he was alive because Lee Asher just released a website for him, but Earnie Earick informed me that he passed away years ago.

It won't allow me to edit my post, so I'll post this here. http://www.larryjennings.com/jennings_biography.htm

He has, in fact, passed on. Just another magician in that big card room in the sky. I would highly recommend the recently re-released Up In Smoke to any semi-advanced card worker. I have been thoroughly impressed by it. I believe my misinformation of him being alive came from me remembering the our own Syd Segal recently had an interview with a legend and Jennings name was on my mind at the time. I remembered things wrong.

Thanks, its kinda emotion to see all that stuff, especially since I've only begun to discover his brilliant material. I never knew Jennings was a founder of L&L?

Amazing.

Yep.

Larry and Lewis Publishing got it's name sometime in the mid eighties, I believe. However, Mr. Jennings signed over his half and Mr. Falanga became the sole owner in the late eighties or early nineties.

Hey Exodus... the "legend" that I interviewed was actually Larry Jennings' personal friend JC Wagner. The interview appeared in our collective book titled "Full Metal Jacket". To further confuse the situation, the first trick in the booklet (as well as the video on the website), is a variation of an unbelievable effect of Larry Jennings. :)

Thanks for the response on that. I don't know why I always get mixed up on that. I originally read it right, but I guess I was Jennings name in there somewhere.
