I did the ambitious card routine today and the ultimate transpo both on BTP. But this oe guy goes i've done this trick before i know how it works and at the end he was just like 'Meh' then the ambitious card he just tells everyone how the finale bit [bent card pops to top] works. So annoying what to do to shut him up before he tells everyone.?

There are a few posts on how to handle this. What I do is generally just look at him for a second, thank everyone for there time, and finish my show. If they say anything about it, usually a line like "I refuse to show magic to anyone that doesn't respect it," will cause them to understand that they ruined it for everyone. Once they leave, you can go back to entertaining the group, or the group will come find you.

give him a little bit of a frown and say when you go to the movies and they use camera editing do you stand up and shout out OH I KNOW HOW THEY DID THAT. no you just sit there and enjoy it. so what everyone knows it is not REAL magic, it is fake, but have some respect and dont ruin it for everyone else. it is just to entertain.

Nice. But if indeed that person did know how to do the ambitious card and the Ultimate Transpo... Hand them the deck and say, "alrighty then, do it..."

It really depends on the attitude you want to take with your heckler. Here are a few examples:

Condescending:
"I know how you did that!"
-Congratulations your parent's must be very proud.

Funny:
"I know how you did that!"
-Wow, me too!

Dismissive:
"I know how you did that!"
-And?

There are plenty of other responses you can do. It all really depends on the style of your performance and the attitude you want to portray. It also depends on the mood.

I for instance have a quite dark, sarcastic, and biting sense of humor. I tend to use the "And?" of the "Congratulations, your parent's must be proud." or "Congratulations, your observant." quite a bit. But that fits the all around feel to my sense of humor. I tend to smirk or grin afterwards, letting the audience know that I'm joking around. Everyone feels happy and the heckler is lost in the humor of the moment. That or he shuts up realizing a joke has been made because of him.

Its the price you have to pay sometimes for doing popular effects.
