My favorite escape is probably the straightjacket escapes.

I like magical escapes better though. Such as the Table of Death.
My favorite magical escape is performed by Franz Harary. I don't know the name of it. He steps into a box and sticks his hands out of two holes in the front of the box. He is then handcuffed and the box is hoisted high above the stage. He then escapes from the handcuffs. All of a sudden the right side chain breaks and you see him fall out of the right side of the box. He is barely hanging on. At the last second he pulls himself back up into the box. The second that he pulls his foot in, the rest of the box falls apart leaving the box completly empty. He has vanished. He is then seen on top of a pillar in the middle of the audience.

My favorite is one that I do.

card is selected and signed, shuffled into deck. One hald of cards are put in one sleeve of Sj (Straight Jacket) other half are in other. Sleeves are shaken to further mix the cards.

Magician is put in straight jacket by two large men, as tight as possible. Magician get ous of straight jacket. Shows hands empty, opens mouth, takes out folded card, its the signed one. All done in full view of audience.

Mine has to be the Robert Gallup escape in which he was handcuffed (I think) put into a sealed mail bag and this mailbag was suspended in a large cage, which was dropped out of a plane, he had to escape the cuffs and mailbag, picklock the door of the cage, open the door and put the parachute on and drift safely to the ground

my favorite would have to be either the water torture device or hanging upside down tied with chains and a straight jacket escape.
