i dont see anything wrong with the atmosphere he is trying to create be it a marketing strategy or not, its not like he is the first person in the world to do so, look at Criss Angel, or even Blaine tried to come of like this silent, misterious guy who can perform miracles

what i like about him, besides his creations, is his elegance, when he is not wearing a cloack, he is in the nicest suits, with perfectly matched jewlry,
realy elegant and classy

some people still somewat associate magic with clowns with big red noses, circuses and stuff like that, maby he is trying to avoid that from happening with XCM

Thats not accurate. He SAYS he's not a magician, and bashes magicians...but devo/davo 'the magician' and balloon animal artist is sincerely talented at both arts of magic and manipulation. His skill is awesome there is no debate about that, it's his ethics, personality, and business practices that are shady, often criminal, and has lost him a lot of friends, customers, and opportunities that he otherwise would have had. It's shame...it really is! Maybe one day he will be saved!

i agree with pay_back. I really like and appreciate De'vo for his work. even though some things i have seen on his website make me al ittle concerned he is cocky but you must give him credit fro totally changeing the way a lot of people look at cards. he really inspired alot of people to pick up cards not for certain but you can see similarities in the way the preview fro extreme cuts is done(siolent) and the way De'vo performs( silent)
so i lie him and realy don't care if his name is david, daniel, De'vo or strudel he is really diserving of his fame.
P.S: why do so many people find him deserving of ridicule like a felon
i don't know if you saw his death before me video but a lot of people here just took his head off so can some one explain why people can't just get over his persona and look at him like any other artist? :?:
