David Blane is Best

I think the Best magiction is David Blane Beacase he is the first person ever to make street magic famous. Without David Blane A part of Magic would be missing, Without David Blane Criss Angel would not Have done that show beacase ther would be no street magic. So if you think about it David Blane is the best Beacse he Invented Street magic.

Yeah, but didn't he perform tricks that had been around for a while anyway?

I feel that Chris Angel is much more original.

Blaine didn't invent, nor has he ever truly done, Street Magic. Street Magic was the first major style of performed magic. Blaine decided to walk around on the streets and show magic to people. Many of the people on this site were doing that before his special.

Well ya but still David Blaine was the first person that ever made it popular. And I think Criss Angel is a big Fake that uses Paid Actors for his specs And I also think he uses camra tricks in almost all his tricks

I agree, some of his tricks seem too good to be true, but there are some of his tricks that you can buy, like his levitation.

I think the DVD is $50 and you have to construct the levitation yourself at a cost of about $100.

I can't remember the exact place on the net, but try searching for his official website.

actually the DVD is 100 dollars and people have said you can construct the gmmick for under 20 bucks

I honestly think this topic was supposed to be a joke, but got out of hand. To say that Angel uses paid actors undermines the idea that maybe he knows tricks that you don't. Sinful looks like it requires some type of setup, but it doesn't. His levitation is now for sale also. What makes the other effects so special that they couldn't just be like any other magic that you want to perform?

Actually, David Blaine didn't make street magic popular. Television did! Without the camera crew following him around, I'm not sure how big of a crowd he would have gotten or if he would have gotten the same types of reactions. Just my opinion.

First of all sonny, David Blaine did not create any tricks whatsoever... Second of all, get your facts straight. David Blaine was not somone who made Street Magic popular. He just preformed it on the streets making HIMSELF popular. And third of all what you said is COMPLETLY baised on opinion. Btw: Copperfield kills David Blaine
