in terms of this year picking whoever i want. i must say cyril from THEM. he has AWSOME original tricks that make me $#!-|- myself.

I voted criss angel just becuase he did a lot this year. He has a TV show and is helping to make magic more popular. I have to agree that daniel garcia would get my vote if he was on there.

The magic that he performs ... I've never seen it before. You know why his good? Because he doesn't tell his secret (maybe later) but that is what a good magician does if he wants to be the best.

I do not wanna believe the existance of such a poll.maybe only Angel deserves to be in that list.what the heck is that Noblezada and Oz and others?and also Blaine.what did he do this year?funny I think this year Angel and Cyril did a good job but Cyril in my opinion is better.however,David Copperfield is the best of all time.Cyril,Angel and others are just a few new faces.nothing more when compared to Copperfield.I would say Copperfield...the second is Cyril and the 3rd is Angel...

for me it has to be oz or sankey. i love both their styles and the tricks they preform. although angel's illusions are very very good, and i dont know how they are done, but with his illusions i figure he uses alot of gimmicks, actors and camara technologhy.....

I have respect for the others but criss is not "the" magician of this year. Cyril is much better and he does magic infront of 100 people, 0.50m away from them, even closer. Criss is a noob and has no style. He is a gothic dude

I suddenly come out an idea ...
I'm not against anyone in the chat room.. just an idea.
Playing Magic infront of ppls - Always concerns on who is our audiences ... and the amount of ppls, angle...

On the TV Show of Criss Angel or Cyril ... we knew sometimes there have few actors to help block some angle ... or some other kind of helper...

The question is who is the audiences for Cyril or Criss Angel are mainly focusing on, honestly I ofcause think audiances infront of the TV. So sometimes Camera tricks or actors will treat as a part of the gimmiks for Criss angel and Cyril. (Ofcause I believe most of the trick....are real Magic trick ... Just some of the trick need some cutting and actor help)

This just my idea wanna to share with you guys.. and sorry for my poor english ... if ppls having trouble to understand it...

yeah i agree. I like the whole free style he's got going on. very flashy. reminds me of the show Street Ball.
