Is it really worth me buying this DVD and is it fairly impromtue? I want something that is there infront of you and in your face. Something different to cards and normal coin tricks. What sort of reactions do you get from performing it?

Cheers.

Ben

DUDE

I performed this illusion for people ... and the best of this effect is that you can ask for (in my case) 1 EUR and you also ask for a soda (coca cola-can also be sprite or whatever) but everything can be BORROWED!!!

its really impromtu and very HARD EFFECT!

Yes this trick is totally impromptu.....it's also in Fulves' Self-Working Coin Magic book, which costs about £3.50. (It's on pg 18..."Crash Glass" by Ross Bertram)

I remember, as a child, seeing my big sister perform Crash Glass. Anyway, Sinful, while a similar type of illusion, is not at all the same trick or method. For those wondering, with Crash Glass, a drinking glass is held horizontally, with the palm of one hand covering the mouth. A coin is then struck against the bottom of the glass with the other palm, and is immediately seen and heard inside the glass. It’s a nice quickie, but takes a lot of practice to get right. I’d say Sinful, in many ways, is actually easier to master; and certainly a more complex effect.

yup, its 100% impromptu, and EVERYTHING, the coin, the can, the pen, the knife you use to open it after (if you choose too), edited, the only thign that CANT be borrowed is YOUR HANDS, with their 'magic touch'

btw, thats a nice Avatar Marlough, some esher type stuffs, pretty sweet

Yes, I forgot to pile-on with a mention of the very impromptu nature of Coin thru Soda Can, aka Sinful: Very much impromptu, indeed; no matter what definition of “impromptu magic” we use. In fact, if you look-up the word “impromptu” in a dictionary, you’ll see a picture of the Coin thru Soda Can magic trick.

I can't take a scrap of credit for the avatar. I only wish. If anything, I bludgeoned the image by resizing it for the avatar. It's an Escher inspired Tessellating Animation by Makoto Nakamura, called "Cat and Pigeon" http://www18.big.or.jp/~mnaka/home.index.html

-Regards

thanks for the link, you think maybe we over did it on the "THIS TRICK IS COMPLETLY IMPROMPTU" side of things? XD :P
