if they look similar, switch the pens.... otherwise, just poke a hole through the dollar bill, and say, my mistake.... I don't think they'll be asking you to do it again...

Do Greg Wilsons Recap. You'll have to say something like, "Thats boring to do the same thing again. How about if I do this..."

Actually do not get into the habit of doing tricks twice for one person or group. Bad policy. Why?

    1. It teaches the audience that they can whine and get you to do what you want.
    2. The spec will watch more closely to the trick the second time and has a better chance to figure out the gimmick.

"I will tell you what....I will do something even better."

This raises the anticipation and changes their minds to something else....most of the time. There are always exceptions.

The easiest way to get out of it is to simply say: I don't like to repeat tricks! Or say, every good magician never does a trick twice. :D

I ALWAYS do dough after stealth.... works amazing because it disproves that a magnet was used since the post it note proves it penetrated. you must invest in dough if you use a stealth pen regularly.

Recap's a very good idea.

Don't obey your audience, but don't let them think that you're not obeying them. If they ask you to repeat something, do something else, so they are satisfied. And finally, let the audience know that the last trick you intend to do is the last one before you do it. Then you have all the reason to walk away once you've done it.

After all these years, no one as ever asked me to do that. Of course, I only perform it when doing a demo at the magic shop or for a paid performance. If there is heat on the pen, you're doing it wrong. Half of the time, when I do it, no one even inspects the pen. I slap the pen on the table, but they inspect the bill.
