I just kick them in the shins and pull their shirt over their head and say, "Look I disappeared!" Then I walk away with a good belly laugh.

I just say that "I won't repeat it. so watch it very carefully" before I start..

Do you say that on every trick? That'll get old.

Only to annoying guys who follow me literally all the and ask me to do it again.

When they say that I'll like wave my hand over the deck or something pointless and say " I just did, what you weren't watching?"

I have the advantage of doing magic for friends A LOT so they usually fill other people in for me with out me having to say any thing. When I do some thing and some one asks me to do it again one of my friends will usually call out some thing like "Magicians dont do the same effect for the same people more then once" Or this is my personal favorite when no one is around.

S: Can you do that again?
ME: Sure

Then I just start doing a completely different trick that is better than the one they wanted me to do. Every time I have done this they forget about the one they wanted to see before that. Usually the first time I dont repeat an effect they get the point and lay off. Spectators usually interrupt me and same some thing like, thats not the same trick, but they shut up fast so they dont miss any thing in the current trick Im doing.

That's GOLD man! I'm using that.

I usually do this

Them: Do that again.
You: The union won't let me.
Them: Union?
You: The magician union. It's against the rules to repeat a trick. They're dangerous too man. The motto is "We're magicians when we make you disappear, you stay disappeared."


This also works with "How'd you do that."

Unions are very widespread right now so people can relate to this. Many people have said, "Oh, sorry man I don't want to get you in trouble with your union. That's always bad news."

This is some great stuff on here. I usually just say the second time's a lesson, but only when I can't repeat the trick for some reason. I have to advertise the same trick again and again, so I don't have the option to do a different trick. But I'll definately be using some of those lines. If your doing a levitation trick here is something you could use:

Them: do that again
You: I can't the gravity elves don't like you
Them: Gravity elves?
You: They're the elves that hold everything down to earth, when I levitate (myself or whatever) they let go of (it or me). But they're afraid you'll hurt them if they don't do their job around you.

when a spectator ask me to do it again i say.
"once is magic, twice is education."
