A voodoo doll for kids? I'm sure that any effect can be suited for kids, but you're kind of pushing it when you say to a kid, "There's an evil spirit inside this doll...would you like to be part of this experiment?"

Maybe I misunderstand the effect, but it doesn't sound very fun for kids.

This can also be referred to as a scarecrow. If I copied the address correctly, it can be seen as below.

The Okito Voodoo Doll is an amazing effect. I've never performed it for kids, but adults sure love it.

It is a kewl looking trick that has had other versions out such as that of a pencil that appeared to rise on your palm. considering the low cost, it is IMHO well worth it, particularly if you are not familiar with it or it's principle.

I have some great patter for this with kids.

"Now, where exactly did they touch you? Show me on the doll"

Dirty sense of humor, non?

I have ordered one of these, hasn't arrived yet. Using this with 4th graders, I am working on a scarecrow playing hide and seek in the corn field routine, and rising up so he can see where the crows are hiding. If anyone can suggest other ideas I would love to hear them. Of course I want this to be a fun thing for them.
