There is a lot of different balls you can choose from, billiard balls, sponge balls, silicone balls...etc...

Billiard Balls are the most common for stage. I've seen everything from bubbles (crystal), ping pong balls, and golf balls for closeup.

I agree with you Alan. Frank makes some of the best and colorful sets in the magic world. Have you ever used any of the mini sets he has put out? They work like a dream for a chink a chink routine.

i learned the routine from mark wilson's complete course in magic and then made them myself from ping pong balls. they work great, but if you are doing a legit show, i'd buy the set of sponge balls.

i have it the ones they give u are like cruddy versions of spongeballs

Billiard balls are probaly the most common and easy to work with depending on the size of your hands. Tennis balls and such are also quite common.
