Go to home depot or something, get some chain, and some key rings, and ask them to solder the key ring so its a solid ring, not a key ring. Trust me, if you use key rings people will say you took it off. And get some heavy duty locks, make sure its a famous brand like master. You can also make a bigger one for your ankles. I havent seen any non home made ones for ankles.

Siberean escape is a great trick. I've been doing it in my standard routine for 30 years and done it hundreds of times and no one has ever had a clue how it was done. I even will put my hands back in the restraint after I show I'm free and let them examine the chain a second time and escape a second time.

Also, it teaches kids that you dont need gimmicks for a good trick.

Hey guys,

I bought the siberian chain escape around eight years ago from adams co. I have not used the trick in a good five years. I went to go practice it for my upcomming show, and...I forgot how to do it. I looked for the instructions to the trick but they are no where to be found. I would apreciate it if someone would PM me how to do it. It would save me a lot of time and money. If not, I guess I will have to buy another one to get the secret agian.

Thanks

that would be against the rules. there is no way we can tell that you own it. to us it sounds like your just after the secret.

I really do have the escape. If you want, I can show you a picture of me holding the trick anyway you tell me to.

Thanks I'll get right on it. I know about the magicians code, I just didn't know how strict people on the forums were about it.

I perform Burling Hull's simplified variation, using a chain with only one ring at the end. I find with the single-ring version it is easier to show the spectator how to fasten it up.

Mine is a heavy chain with a substantial steel ring. It goes over extremely well.
