Can you buy any close-up magic in Wall-Mart in Canada, such as cups and balls maybe? I haven't taken a really good look around some Wall-Mart stores.

-Thanks!

Wal-Mart (at least the one near me)usually has Marshall Brodien tricks, either kits or cards. Those are really geared for beginners. They also have those box kits with 4 tricks for a buck.....those also are geared for beginners.....those boxes also make a great giveaway for kid shows......

Wal-Mard does sell playing cards by the bucket load........

Neither would I, for a pro, but they make a nice kid gift. My first stuff was a 110 magic trick kit from K-Mart......but it's one of those things that gets you started.......

Now, a pro buying and using a kit from Wal Mart........maybe as giveaway gifts at a show........ :?

Actually, I've done this for the birthday kid before.

Now THAT'S a great idea! I never thought of that! A birthday gift from the performer, and a magic kit ta boot! I always gave away the oriental trading company stuff, but a full on kit.....it's so simple (smacking myself in the head) Way to get rebookings! I applaud you! :D

Learn something new every day.....

LordLance, you rock. I really wish I had thought of that years ago......it's such a sensible idea, and in our vernacular "packs small, plays big"

Kudos again 8)
