I think if you do something for a friend and someone else sees and asks if you're a magician, it's a totally valid question. You'd be amazed (no pun intended) at the number of laymen who know 1 or 2 tricks to show friends, if they ask if you're a magician, they probably want to know if you're a one trick pony or not.

I think it like this:

If they ask you if you're a magician, it could be be because they wanna know of a show you'll be performing so they can attend (if possible), it could be because they wanna know if you have other tricks to show them or if this is the only one you know (that you read somewhere, had a friend show you, etc...), .......................



I think it's a real normal question to ask if you see somebody perform a miracle.

that shouldn't be happening. maybe practice more before you perform for others or something.
