Why would it be a camera trick if you were doing it on a stage? Just a thought...

There aren't many self vanishes without assistants which is what it seems like what you want to do. Be creative and you'll come up with something, I'm sure.

i dont think there are any self vasnishes out there do alot of research cuz i know sum people that do self vanishes so maybe there is something..

If Criss Angel vanished an Elephant with "real" elephant legs that were peaked at under the screen with tons of people surrounded...Then how come a self vanish is impossible?...

I was being sarcastic i did not mean it literally. But im just saying there are tons of self vanishes are there not? Im not too familiar but pretty, i mean there are elephant, tigers, assistants, like you stated, all kinds of things. I have never someone asked because like you said usually it involves an assistant so if thats what you want, then there is plenty that i know of at least.

Elephants and tigers? What? These are SELF vanishes. Where you make your self vanish. Not other objects.

A self-vanish may be hard to find. There are ways to do so though. You could modify a vanish that uses an assitant to work for you. Or, you could just have spectators help.

I'm not quite sure where you could find a vanish, because I've always created my own. But if you just think about it, I'm sure you could think of a way.

I can think of a way, cost about $200 bucks to make. But ya, i could make it. of course i dont expect you to fully trust me either.

with some thinking and research you should be able to figure it out.

It usues a very old technique. But i cant and wont just revel it to you.

I mean there are all kinds of different vanishes so im sure he can vanish himself...

have you heard of David Copperfield walking through the Great Wall of China? what he did was, he'd have a few assitents (all dressed alike) cover him with a screen then when they removed it he'd be gone and they'd go to the other side and do the same and he'd come back. Look it up and there in lays an anwser for u hope it helps
