As customer service said to me "Sorry but it is not to be reopened. We are only operating out of the US now."

So it is closed, and also somewhere in the blog they said that too.

R.I.P Penguin UK.

If you don't like the waiting then you can always buy your magic from other UK dealers. There are some absolutely awesome UK online magic dealers. The problem is that their products are more expensive (due to the dollar/pond ratio). So it's a toss between waiting and cost. You can't have both.

But none that ships worldwide for free, I live in Estonia (Europe) and I would like to order cards for like ~20$ and I do not want to pay like 10$ shipping and get like only two decks.

matu04, It's unfortunate I grant you but it's highly unlikely you'll be able to get your hands on more than 3 decks of cards for $19. You could try sending an email to internationalsales@usplayingcard.com and asking them if they could give you a list of Rider Back Bicycle Card vendors in or around Estonia.

brinn, www.alakazam.co.uk is probably the best online magic dealer in the UK. For playing cards and random accessories, check out www.cards4magic.co.uk. As i said their prices are quite a bit higher.

uhmmm, Really, it sucks.

I know what matu04 is saying cause I'm looking for new stuff on the PM.com/UK but nothing is changed.

I just ordered some items from the US even that I don't want to pay for shipping. Nothing to do about it. Just order from the US dude.
:o

Yeah it sucks
It would be kind to even just lower the prices in US store for shipping to EU, like make it 5$ (so it is not much) or so.
:(

You never know. There's a slim chance that something like that may happen when they update the site to "Penguin 2.0".

Quote:
All of this [shipping internationally from the US warehouse] will be announced in conjuction with the launch of our new site. In the meantime, we very much appreciate your loyalty and support. We are committed to serving you, our UK and European customers, and we have made this strategic decision because it will allow us to provide you with a better level of service at a better price.

On a positive side, since the exchange rate for the dollar is getting lower all the time it is getting cheaper for us to buy in Dollars.
