Which effect do you think is better? I've seen pen through dollar performed alot more but I think Misled is way better (and cheaper!). I figured pen through dollar out the first time I saw it. I had no idea how Misled was done (the gimmick is genius).

I do like misled (I know how its done but don't have it)...But personally performing pen thru dollar baffles everyone I do it to. So I'll probably stick with that, even though the whole "borrow a pencil" thing for misled is cool.

i LOVE the pen thru dollar collection. it is great and i've actually had people drop the money and walk away without saying a word. it is a really strong affect. but with misled you get that beautiful melting effect in phase two. i also dug myself a bit of a hole when i went to borrow a pencil and they were like "no don't use that one use this one"
anyways...the pen thru dollar has garanteed me reactions and it is examinable. thats why it got my vote.

pen thru is the best because the gimmick is so ingenious but the misled gimmick strange because at the beginining he says you need to bend it but wat if u break it

I personnaly like misled, because its a pencil, in PTD the pend always look fishy and not normal.

I like misled a lot better. The pen is easier to figure out, but there is nothing to figure out with the pencil, since you can borrow it. I had misled awhile ago (I reordered it and now I'm waiting for it to come) and I have the stealth pen, and I feel I get better reactions with misled.

Mislead is my choice. My wife and I were visiting my family over Thanksgiving and I showed my B2 bomber to my father (we always discuss illusions... he's no magician, but he is about as smart as they come in terms of non-practitioners)...

anyhow... I showed him my pen through dollar and his first reaction was...
"That's not nearly as convincing as that pencil one that you do."

I think he is right. The pen-through effects are very limiting... whereas the mislead gimmick allows you to shove that whole pencil through the bill, wiggle it around, move it in and out... and show where the pencil is going in and coming out. Considering the issue of borrowing the pencil... I don't... but I do give the pencil away (therefore beating the situation involving... 'here, use my bright neon green pencil!')

I have also made a number of mislead gimmicks for bic and papermate pens... so I use these sometimes, performing the mislead effect.
