Agree.
Zombie is a wonderful effect that teaches you
1. use of gimmicks
2. angle managment
3. presentation skills

Just remeber that lots of practice is needed to really show it off.

well that depends, do you want to do grand illusion or illusionettes?

For grand illusion check out:
*Tip over trunk(check out magicauction in a few weeks my black and gold one will be on there)
*Zig Zag lady
*Flash Appearance

For illusionettes check out:
*Joker tube(I dont have this one yet)
*Appearing Cane
*Zombie Ball

and a couple of other things that you will have to consider are:
*a backdrop (good ones here)
*lighting(some good stuff http://www.sldlighting.com/shopdisplayc ... y+Lighting
*a table(here is a good one http://www.elmwoodmagic.com/full/Magic- ... __1481.htm

Don't forget music
Use "roayalty free music" as a google search or check www.musicbakery.com. I bought a disk for about $20
You break copyright laws if you use commercial music in your show without a lic. If you want to use commercial music you can buy the licensing from BMI or ASCAP. I'd spend some time on the BMI site and read about the different licensing options.

I can heartily recommend Stock20.com for GREAT royalty free music that is downright inexpensive - $7 a song! check 'em out, you won't be disappointed... www.stock20.com

Squared Circle is a fantastic effect for small stage.

Large stage, build a Separated Lady table.

Squared circle can be purchased anywhere or built with plans in Mark Wilson's book.

I built my Separated Lady table from the book The Magic of Alan Wakeling.
