quick question, i read so much about it that i got confused: when i get the raven, do i have to get additional coins that i can then make disappear and reappear? basically, by getting the raven do i just get one gimmick which allows me to do tricks with other gimmicks which i have to get separately?

addition: can the raven be performed in a t-shirt?

i got the raven delux kit (which i dont use anymore cause its not really the type of magic im into right now)

but i beleive the raven just comes with the "nickel trick" and you would need to purchase the "dissapearing quarter" sepparately for 15 bucks or so.

i would give you mine, but it broke.

I would say go with the Raven Deluxe Kit. You get more, and is worth the price, since you also get a video with it, which will help you out quite a bit.

With some adjusting, inventing, and practice? Yes.

I have the raven. it comes with a shell nickel so it can't be examined. but you can turn in into a penny, dime or mini nickel (which it comes with.) DO NOT GET THE RAVEN DELUXE KIT!!! BUY THE RAVEN AND THE DVD IF YOU WANT THAT!!! here's why.

1 Since when have you seen people carrying or using a halfdollar anymore?
2 the quarter can easily be made by a simple quarter switch. (this I invented) You take a quarter and glue a steel washer to the other side. when it dries,you will not fell it in your hand, but will see it on the table. (its obvious but the washer is face down) it works just as well, now you just need to borrow a quarter and switch. I made this with a penny, nickel, dime, and quarter so i can ask them to take out any coin.

the point of using the raven is you dont have to do slieght of hand to vanish the coin, thats why you bought the gimmick.

if you are going to use slieght of hand to switch the coin, you mind as well just use a slieght to vanish the coin too.

well said jerry, but to get the visual effect of the raven, a little swich is needed. not a big sleight. a sleight cannot let you wave your hand over.

hey im in australia and im wondering is there3 any point of me buying the raven deluxe kit? i meen im reaklly exited and i want it...but... noon e uses tyhose coins and evertyuone will go can u do it with my coin! is it worth the 55 aus dolars im tryuing to save enough to get electric touch
