No problem about the driving comment.

I have had a few responses informing me that they could not access my pitcure site. Please let me know if you have had trouble and if you have any suggestions of where I can post my pictures.
Thanks.

Thank you everyonr for your kind comments!

Years ago I had an old neighbor who had quite the wood shop ans another who had access to a metal shop. They taught me a few things that helped. I also over the last few years have aquired some fine tools and have quite the little shop. The correct tools and knowinf who to ask helps a ton when desigining and building.

I used to have a workshop; now I live in a smaller place.
Still, I've got a garotte escape in the works (one of three different designs I've developed) that I may build in the 'guest bedroom' (aka temporary storeroom).

Luckly I have a farm/ranch to build an store all my larger escapes. My deck was getting full.
I have some new builds in the work, and some modiification on some older ones of mine.
Its also a great place to practice with them, try new stuff out, etc.
And there are run down shacks, old stores, all kinds of interesting stuff to be used.
An now my father is learning to weld, it will come in handy.

My dad was a shop foreman (previously an 'A' welder)
His metalworking skills really came to the fore for me when he engineered and helped me build an Iron Maiden escape in the 1970s.

I picked up my 'armchair engineering' knack from him.
