How long did it take you to learn to juggle? I know it can take years to refine but how long did it take you to really get it down? For me I could juggle in about 30-40 minutes. It took me a couple weeks to do it perfectly... you know like 100 juggles.

I got it done well enough after a weekend of practice.

well about an hour before i had the basic movements and could do one revolution. From there it took about 3 hours in one night to lose my "fear" of dropping a ball and to be able to do about 50 or so catches in a row.

What are devil sticks? I've seen 'em on some web sites but what do they do?

Devil sticks:
you have three sticks. 2 are short and the 3rd (the center stick
is weighted at both ends)
use the 2 shorter sticks to manipulate the larger.
Hard to explain. Google it and Im sure you can find a video.

I can't juggle, but my friend is getting pretty good. He taught himself using golf balls, and it took him about 3 days to get it down. He ordered You Can Do It Juggling with Anthony Gatto from Penguin, and it is currently on it's way. I'm also looking into starting juggling, I love to watch it, and from everything I've seen it gets great reactions.
