What is the differance between a snap hook jacket and a strap jacket? Price is why i want that one, and plus its gimmicked.

Well for one, one is strap and one is snap hook.
One is more authentic- the strap.
The straps allow it to be tightened more.
The hooks can be a pain to unhook, if thats the method used. They like to slip back on and not budge.

Mostly just personal prefance. Get what you feel most comfortable with.

If the snap hooks do not work out well, you can always remove them and retrofit web or leather straps (from the local army surplus store, leather craft shop, farm supply, etc.)
