 Post subject: linking ring size

Im getting "Magic on stage" by Jeff McBride (volume 1) and i want to pick up a set of linking rings. the only problem is that i dont know what size to get. does anybody have any advice or could anyone tell what size McBride uses. any help appreciated. :wink: Thanks

I think McBride uses 8 inch ones on the Magic on Stage videos. However, it really is just a personal preference. I use 12 inch one and actually have been moving to hula hoops. So it's really just a personal preference

I prefer the 8in. rings
It also depends on the size of your hands
You do not want to big of rings or you could reveal whats really going on

i've gone with 10 inch, do u use ur 5'' rings for stage or close up?

There's really no way Jeff uses 8" rings. His head is too big!

10" or 12" is typical for stage use. Ring size really has nothing to do with the size of the gaff. Whit Haydn now uses 15" Owens rings in his routine.

mcbride uses 10''
