I agree with fallingblood on this one, IF it does not work just simply reply crap i hate cards so ya then if you want go into another non-setup trick and do that to recover from the loss

I always like to say, "No, this is your card, I just magically changed it into (insert random card name here)." This may have already been said, but I didn't see it.

I sometimes say ok, ok, i can do this and the next time i do it, it works
and say second times a charm

Interesting, because I have a prediction card I stuck in my pocket last night. It's the ... eight of spades (Kolossal Killer card stack).

I ask ,"what was your card"

They say," the X of X's"

I say while culling that card," The only way that could have happened is if you card was never in the deck"

Pull card from pocket.

This is if they lie and the card I showed them was actually there card.

i say , whip out the brain wave! they wont know what hit em

there's a high likelihood that their card is near the mistaken card. spot the cards around it as you as then what their card is. Tell them that the card they spoke is the card you chose. As you patter steal away the card they mentioned and just color change it to their card.

Developed this when I first failed classic force (which I have stopped practicing for now).

I do what pookie does.

Except patter goes:

"Hmm...(running through cards)...Which was your card?"

"The X of Y."

"What?!...That's impossible!" (Culled to bottom, square deck, put card into gambler's cop.)

"huh? Why?"

"There isn't an X of Y in this deck!" (pass them the deck, ditch the card in pocket while they're looking through cards)

The effect becomes an examinable vanish of a card...

The beauty is this will work equally well if it really was their card or not... It'll make them look a little foolish if they were actually lying, and if they weren't you have a solid effect.

i always classic force the card , if you did get in to a sticky situation , i am sure you would be able to come up with some reason to spread through the deck, then cull the card.

or at least, i can improvise well off the top of my head, so it seems like its part of the routine and i just go with it
