Yeah, For Restaurant workers, How much do you get paid by the hour?

I'm thinking of charging $70.00 per night, and work friday and saturday (but thats up to the manager)

Sound good? this is what im hopeing for but I dont think i'll be able to get this kind of pay, the restaurant opening around us are kinda not the "rich" class.

I'm no expert, but I thought most restaurant magicians charged by the night, not by the hour. Well, I learned something new today.

Some do charge by the night, but I'm going to ask the Manager if he wants me to charge by the way i said above or charge by the night either way I dont mind.

I find it hard to believe that any restaurant is going to pay a 14 year old kid, 70 dollars an hour. I find it hard to believe that a restaurant is going to pay anyone 70 dollars an hour for that matter.

You're a beginner, who really have no expierence in restaurant magic. You aren't going to be paid $70 an hour. You better start working on your spelling and grammar though. If you want to write up a contract, it has to look good. And writing up a contract is advised.

Personally, it depends how many days I'm working that week. Every night I work, I work a minimum of 2 hours. I put that in my contract. The more days I work, the less I charge by the hour. I took this idea from Kirk Charles.

This brings up a question that I have. I want to really do a lot research, and practice, practice, practice, and maybe when I'm around 16 or 17 maybe look into doing restaurant, and I would like to have a contract. Do you guys have any tips for writing one up? Thanks.

First of all be yourself. Good grammer/spelling. If you don't have Live at the jailhouse DVD I think that would be good to have before you start doing Restaurant Magic.

Thats about all the basic. ask Fallen he has had experance.

He did originally. If you look at the bottom of his post, you can see that he edited it.
