Does anyone know a good way to learn escape art. Being an escape artist is a major aspect of being a magician.

You dont have to perform escapes to be a magician. You dont have to perform magic to be an escape artist.

Many magicians dont perform escapes, and many shouldnt. Its costly, a different performance style, and sometimes dangerous.

I for one rarely mix my escapes and magic. I try to keep them in different shows. I do mix escapes with side show and stunts. But almost never with magic.

They can be and many times are two separate things.

The best way would be to learn from a real personal, a personal teacher.
Books and some dvds are also very good.
And of course trail and error, experimenting.

Oh and there is an escape area for this.
