If you're talking Kozak's, you could probably appear a bloody bowling ball behind those silks. As far as bottle productions go, to the lay, it might appear magical. But it isn't a very fair production. And for $225?

Pick up Troy Hooser's Total Destruction Volume 1 for an excellent bottle production.

Lennart Green's Green Magic Volume 1 for an appearing glass of liquid. I beleive he also teaches an appearing bottle in it as well.

The Flicking Fingers' DVD titled Flicking Fingers: The Movie also teach an appearing glass of liquid.

His is fair. But I don't like using a paper bag. You can use a cloth napkin to work that.

As for Hooser's, I'm thick around the wasteline so I had to make a little special gimmick instead, so it fits inside my jacket (or wear a hoodie).

He uses his close-up pad, but I use table placemats with no problem. They're basically the same size and shape anyhow, and that's all that matters.

Are you thinking of King Solomon's Drink? That's the only bottle/glass production in there that I know of. It's not a direct production; you do a bit with a handkerchief and a coin first. It involves about the same level of misdirection as Greg Wilson's Dishonest Abe. I've never tried it personally, but if performed well it would definitely be a startling effect.

King Solomon's Drink is in vol. 2 of AOA.

Isn't David Stone his bottle production the best?
I think so. You can do it with any bottle.
It's called Bite me and it's on The Real Secrets Of Magic.

Etiene Pradier has an amazingly visual wine bottle through table effect taught in his Signed Card In Sealed Bottle. You can see the neck of the bottle right up to the last second.

Tried finding a video of his FISM performance, but couldn't. I did come across this one of Cyril. He doesn't do the full routine, but does his own. But I would have to imagine he uses Etienne's technique to get the card in the sealed bottle. Though you don't see the handling. Most likely was edited for TV. However, Etienne's handling is very clean.
