Those decisions for magic at school are really bad. First off, a pull? A gimmick that can only be worn with sturdy, long sleeved shirts, a pain to reset, and can only be used for a one-time vanish and no reproduction? At school, your results are going to be very limited with that. Especially when people start assuming you can make anything vanish and start handing you stuff, and you don't have your gimmick.
Blindsided seems very good for cards, actually. However, I don't think cards are good for school. Most people, including me, find it weird for people to carry cards around with them, all the time. But w/e floats your boat, I guess...
And with Scotch and Soda, it's just another gimmick to carry around and worry about losing. Also, it uses foreign coins which kids will think are gimmicked. If you want to learn stuff using coins, buy Bobo's. Many transposition effects in that book, that require nothing but sleights.
School magic should be impromptu, using ordinary objects in my opinion. You're not going to school to do magic, so don't act like it. But everyone likes to perform there once in a while, so asking to borrow a pen, quarter, rubber bands, etc. and showing a little mystery is much more convenient.
