I do not have the flipper coin, but from what I have heard it is alot like the butter coin. The only thing is you can do more with a butter coin. It may be worth checking into for you. I know I love my butter coin. I have been doing magic for a very short time,(3 1/2 weeks) and I can flawlessly put a signed half dollar through a glass table. It almost amazes me how well it looks.

With the butter coin, you start with three coins, have the spec chose one and sign it. place them in your hand, and when dropped on a glass table, the signed coin goes through to your hand.

That is my favorite effect with it. it has others, but that is my favorite!!

:D

I like the butter coin better than my 3 in 1. It is just more "visual for my type of magic. (party/street) I dont like to carry around alot of stuff. With the butter coin I dont have to. The only effect shown on the video that I dont like is the coin bite. I still use my 3 in one for that, but It does have a few really good effects on the dvd.

I have both the flipper and the buttercoin. The difference between the butter coin and flipper coin is in the handling and display. Buttercoin has better angles then the flipper. Flipper has more of an un-natural movement to it (but you can work with it). Buttercoin has a very natural movement getting it into position. Flipper coin is displayed the same way for a 2 or 3 coin display. Buttercoin has to use different display methods due to the gaff which I feel is a disadvantage. For a great DVD on using the flipper, check out Troy's Destroyer DVD. Best video out on the market using the flipper. If you liked the demo of the buttercoin, you will be happy to know that you can do the same thing with a flipper coin (exactly). If you are creative enough to work with the new buttercoin gaff then go for it (not whole lot of routines out there yet). If you want proven and numerous routines to choose from that other professional magician's have already created, then buty the flipper coin. It all depends on how much time you have.
:D
