It depends on you because if you like doing flourishes then go a head. Just to tell you though, the LDS requires a lot of practice and a lot of patience to get good at it. If you are planning to get it, promise yourself that you will not give up.

I don't know if it's just me, but I CANNOT get this flourish down right.

I've practiced a bit, but there absolutelty no sign of improvement.

Also, i have given up on this because i have found a very similiar flourish that is 100X easier.

If you wanna put the time in to get this right, I guess you could get it, considering it only costs like $5

I like it. It took me a couple of weeks to get it, and sometimes it still doesn't work right, but when it does work (which is about 90% of the time) it really looks cool. I like to use it after a DL on something like Ambitious Card. It is a surprise to the spectator and they don't know what part of the deck it came flying out of because you just showed them the top card. I just started working on Shotgun Aces a few days ago and it is a lot tougher than LDS. They give you some good tips to get started in the LDS private forum, also.

it is really hard to learn but there is one way around to start off that i found. once you learn the movements and stuff, get a thumbtip and it will help provide necesary friction and "rubber-ness" that you need until you build up your caluss (sp.?)

i love LDS, yes it does take quite a while to learn it but its worth it imo.

its a great card flourish to do inbetween tricks and routines and just to do for the heck of it.
also considering its only 5.95 ( i think ) its deffinetly worth it, but keep practicing

I bought Daryl's Card revelations Vol 1, because it has the LDS. It also quite a few other nice revelations. So if you want to spend more to get more then you may want try it. I would recommend the DVD because you may not be able to do the LDS and if you cant at least you have something to show for you money.

I actually found the long distance spinner on a web site for free...and all I can tell you is that u have to practice practice practice...i find that using a magicians TT or piece of latex from a glove makes the spinner easier...

with a whole deck it's hard but practice with half the deck at first and you'll see how easy it is

Yeah, we're going to tell you that I'm sure.

This sleight for me wasnt hard to get. I just kept trying to do it without success for like an hour staright and suddenly the card popped up. I just kept doing the same thing, changing little details like exactly where this finger should move and stuff. I just kept doing it over and over and in about a week I had it down. You just got to keep practising.

I love this flourish. I do it almost everyday. Its more of a feeling trick, once you get it the first time you should write down exactly how you did it. I use this flourish to attract attention to me and to start my street performance. I love it when they say how did you do that? Once they ask that question The magic begins.
