Sea Side Shenanigans

A few friends and I went to a fantastic sea-side town yesterday called Weston-Super-Mare. We were celebrating my friend Tony's birthday. A great time was had by all and I would seriously suggest that if any of you Penguins would like to experience a really good day out, Weston-Super-Mare should be on your list of places to visit. Especially as there appeared to be quite a few different magic shows there, I didn't get to go to one but I did see a few posters for them.

Any magicians in Weston-Super-Mare or anywhere else for that matter, why not leave us a comment here telling people where and when you perform...you never know, you might just get a few of us Penguins turning up!

Man...that was a busy weekend!

I had a great time seeing some old friends while Maxwell stayed in the office the whole time, literally chained to his chair, coming up with new ways to excite and inspire the European Penguins!

It's great to be here!

First off I want to say what a treat it is to be here... Especially after the customs officials at London Gatwick put me through the ringer.

There was no one in line behind me, and my customs official decided to ask me a few hundred questions. The hi-light was when he asked me how long I am staying in the UK.

"One month", I told him.

He said, "And how much money do you have with you."

I reached down into my pocket and all I found was my GREED bill. I pulled it out and said, "A dollar, Sir."

He stared at me. There was no way he was going to let me into the country with one dollar in my pocket.

I said, "Well, a dollar goes a long way. You just give it a wave and it turns into a FIVE. Another wave and you've got a TEN to spend. And another leaves me with a TWENTY."

I wasn't brave enough to deliver the "Don't get GREEDY" line to a guy who held my fate in his hands (although I'm sure Danny would have done it). I stopped the trick right there.

The customs official didn't exactly smile and gasp and scream like the spectators in the brand new GREED demo, but he must have liked the trick because he let me through!

And as I said, it's GREAT to be here. The guys at Penguin UK are awesome, and we've got a lot of improvements planned for the next month... INCLUDING some special offers I don't think you'll want to miss.

Hello Penguins!

Welcome to the Penguin Magic Europe Blog!

I'd like to announce that this Blog is just the start of an exciting time here in Europe as over the next month there will be a lot more great new developments. Maxwell himself is in town and will be working with our team here to focus on bringing you, our European customers the very best value and service. Now I know that's what your expecting me to say, its what everyone says right? However I feel very optimistic about the plans we will be trying out over the next few weeks. It is no secret that things have not been 100% here in the Europe office over the past couple of months and we know that some of you believe that we have neglected our European Penguins. From my perspective this was not true but again, that's what I am expected to say. We here at Penguin Magic Know that actions speak louder than words. To this end all I will say is watch this space for I am positive that it will soon become a very interesting space to watch!
