Mysterious Kings The spectator's favorite king mysteriously changes color!

The magician states that in an envelope he has four cards that are all kings and one of the kings is face up. The spectator is asked to announce his favorite king. When the packet of cards is removed from the envelope and spread out the only face up king is the spectator's favorite. The card is turned over, and it has a different back than the rest!
The effect is clean, direct and classic. Unlike other similar tricks, many of which were inspired by Mysterious Kings, there is no forcing or limiting of which King is chosen.

Great effect! Report this review

I already frequently perform this effect, and it blows spectators away. They think you're psychic. The handling is very easy to learn and effective. This is one of my favorite packet tricks.
On the downside, there is no examinability, unless there is a switch, but if it is done correctly, the spectators usually do not want to examine the cards. Also, it is more of an in-the-middle-of-a-routine effect than an opener or closer.

Guys, go for it! This trick is easy and pretty powerful. Fans of the Brainwave deck . . . meet the smaller and easier way to get the same if not better reactions! Yo9u'll be performing it within not minutes . . . seconds. It is so simple that. . . that . . . just get it! The ony reason it lost a star is because you can't perform it to the same person/audience more than two or three times. Then the secret will be known! BUY NOW!

This trick gets very good reactions, and is very simple to perform. It requires no sleight of hand, and you will be performing it in seconds. Great mentalism trick to use with Killer B and Brainwave. Only downside is, is that it's not examinable.

This is a nice effect. It is very easy to perform, and anybody can do it. I have modified it and added onto the effect to make it stronger, and there are other ways as well that you can perform it if you think about it. Check it out.

A good packet trick. People think you are psychic!! The only downside is that it is not examinable, unless there is a switch. In other words, great trick.
fun trick but not great Report this review

I got this trick for free but I would have been upset if I had paid for it. The effect is cool but nothing is inspectable which sucks because people always want to inspect a trick that only uses four cards. I would not consider this effect for a professional routine unless someone jazzed it up with a switch. However, if you can do switches, you probably don't need gimmicks like these anyway. It's still a fun goof-off trick though.

Honestly, this is my faviorte trick to do when I see a cute girl that I want to talk to, but have no idea how to break the ice. I pretend it's an ESP test, and I ask her if she thinks she has ESP. Of course she'll say "no I don't have ESP" and stuff, but once you show her the card she was thinking, it always gets her talking. It's awesome, perfect ice breaker for the cute girl you've had your eye on, but never had anything funny or witty to open up with.
pretty good Report this review
