The performer removes a paperclipped and folded card from his pocket and sets it in full view of the audience. A card is then freely selected, signed and returned to the deck. And yet, when the performer unclips the folded card and slowly unfolds it...it is found to be the signed card! This is a truly mind-blowing impossibility.
What You Get
Now, for the very first time, Jay's astonishing "card in paperclip" is fully explained, along with his other killer effects, "Bank Night," Mental Photography," "Card in Egg," and "Torn and Restored Business Card" routines, presentational suggestions, psychological fine points and the all-important "touches" only gained from years of performing experience are all fully covered. Alternative to Boring Card Magic Report this review

This single trick changed the reactions I got from not another lame card trick to what the...?
If you want to do quick and devistatingly unbelievable effects for your audience without all of the boring Elmsley and flustration counts than look no further.
This effect is not that difficult. It was one of the very first card slights that I ever learned. And learning it will boost your confidence because of the strength of the effect. I must admit that I am hard to please when it comes to the type of tricks that I like, but this one is really good. I could go on and on but Ill stop here.

If you dont have it get it! This is something I have performed in my routine forever it is amazing. It can be done in full view. It is perfect for restaurant magic or anything. I have seen this done at a restaurant and the spectator didnt move for ten minutes after seeing this. They sat there stunned like their reality had been shattered. This is just awesome this needs to be in your routine.

This is a really great trick. It packs a devastating punch. In the video, Sankey gives a very detailed explaination on how to perform the trick, also teaches a few other applications.
This trick will certainly make your reputation! You can use it on the toughest of audiences and blow them away.
This trick really lives up to the hype and I defenitely recommend it.

This trick is amazing. The video teaches you a simple slight of hand that is useful for this trick as well as mystery box and is a great way to boost confidence if you are a beginner at slight of hand. Buy a few extra decks to practice with when you get this trick. It took me about an hour to master and I fool people every time. I LOVE this trick. Best trick I ever bought and I have tons more. Jay Sankey is an excellent teacher. Video is very entertaining too.

Jay has done it again. This is an awesome video with exceptional instructions. In addition to paperclipped, you get instructions on a few other tricks as well. I now have a new method of giving out my business card that really blows people away. This is well worth the money.
This WILL be your finisher Report this review

Hear me out, this WILL be the ultimate finish to your routine. I myself do routines to people in restaurants and this is always no matter what, the finale. Like always, I was skeptical about purchasing, which is natural, however, THERE'S NO NEED TO BE! The effect itself is rather easy to pull off... which may upset you after you find it out, but stop and think about it and you will realize it's brilliancy. This effect is so great, it will go ANYWHERE into ANY routine you perform. Jay Sankey's a great man, get this effect. Paperclipped.

After getting the video I watched once and was so eager to try this trick I practiced it in the mirror maybe four times and showed it to a friend. He is usually that one spectator everyone hates because he looks at everything I'm doing very closely. Let me tell you, I didn't even do this trick flawlessly and when I told him to unfold the card after I unclipped it he just stared at it for maybe twenty seconds without saying a word! They are not kidding when they say you can see your spectators brain snap! This trick is so simple they don't know what they should be looking for, but give Jay the respect he deserves and practice practice practice! Wow Penguin! thanx Jay
Good Trick Report this review

This is a solid trick. Impromptu, with good misdirection, you will end up clean. It is done signed, and the video has several bonus effects on it. The video goes into great detail and covers every subtlety. So, why did I take away a star? The trick cannot stand on its own. It has to be done with another. If I do it, I use it to end my ambitious card. However, most of the time, I'm sticking with Ultimate Ambition. I like tricks that a routine can be molded around. If you are doing table hopping, get this trick definitely. If you are doing shows, get a good routine trick (Presto Printo is king for this.)
