I always enjoy the World's greatest magic series. You get to see a variety of takes on a limited
theme, from a variety of performers.
This one wasn't the best out there. The routines shown weren't really that good either. Aldo columbini's routine would be my choice for the best on the dvd. Dan harlan does a nice job with the classic cut and restored rope. This would be a good resource for a beginner who wants a nice selection of rope routines. Otherwise I would get Richard Sander's Fiberoptics, which is also available from Penguin. Did this review help you?
If you like rope magic you need this DVD. The price is perfect and the cut and restored rope routine
by Harlan is a very good trick and will get you a good response, however my favorite is the Finney
routine. If you want a serious peice of comedy magic for your show this is the best comedy cut and
restored routine with a volunteer you will find. Highly recommended.

I liked most of the routines in this DVD and they were taught quite well, I especially liked Micheal
Finney's routine, its extremely funny and although I dont't think I'd have the backbone to do it how
he does it, there is still a lot I can do with it, he teaches it very well and I reckon if all I got
out of this DVD was that routine I'd be happy.
The other routines and teachings weren't as good as Micheal Finneys but they still satisfied my desire to learn more about rope routines. Overall I felt that I got my moneys worth on this one and its a good resource to own. Did this review help you?
