This is actually a cool idea, it's just not my style. It isn't quite what the description says either. It is near angle proof, but definitely not completely angle proof. It does have instant reset though and you could use any ring. I actually like the Gypsy Thread handling better than Northbound. The classic Gypsy Thread was awesome already, but Sean Fields has taken it to a new level.

This trick makes me proud to be from Winnipeg. Sean Fields (who I actually know through a friend) has come up with some pretty amazing stuff and this trick is one of his best. You simply borrow a ring from someone and it vanishes. Your hands are shown to be empty. You pull your necklace out of your shirt and the borrowed ring is linked on the necklace! This trick will take some time to get right but it's worth the practice time. If you are looking for a great object to impossible location, then pick this up and you won't be disappointed.

I am very happy I made this purchase because the set - up to the effect is very easy and when performed on the street spectators love it, thet go crazy.

Overall its a great trick but one thing i like to point out is the description. It mentioned, 'NO thread, wires, magnets, pulls, reels, NOTHING!'. They should just stop after reels. Its true they don't use any of the mentioned but 'Nothing'? There is actually a gimmick used. Two actually. Still a great trick which i still use daily. Nice one guys!

Let me start off by saying this effect is very cool when done right. The moves and props needed are very easy to obtain and the method behind this effect is soo simple. When you find out how this is done you will think to yourself, "why didn't I think of that"? This effect can be done with the props suggested in the dvd or improptu without hardly any gimmicks. The only gimmick you need for both versions is very simple to make. Chances are you will probably have those materials in you own home already. The gimmick is so simple infact that I don't even call it a gimmick, but thats just me. You will know what I mean if you get this. The only reason it lost a star was because the quality of the dvd was not clear. It wasn't shot in high definition and the sound is bad. The quality reminds me of an amature home video. Other than that, this effect is great. If you can, get this.
